Summer Courses
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is offering HTMT-210 Principles and Practices in Hospitality and Tourism Management, a 3 credit course, during “Maymester” this summer of 2007.
This is an excellent class for any undecided students because it covers many of the career opportunities that can be found in hospitality and tourism, which include the hotel and foodservice industries, meeting and events’ management, and parks and recreation fields.
There are NO PREREQUISITES and the class can be used as a general elective.

PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES IN HOSPITALITY & TOURISM
An overview of the hospitality and tourism field including its historical development, major components, functions, and current and future trends. Does not count toward major GPA except in HTMT concentration. (3)
